Dr. Zahra Ladak-Merchant

Dr. Zahra’s professional journey started as a clinician - and quickly moved from treating to promoting holistic health. In quest of creating health that truly lasts, she pursued a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University, USA. Her academic rigour and curiosity led her further into research at Harvard Hospitals, and most recently, into an immersive program in Gerontology at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai – each step deepening her understanding of health and human development across the lifespan.
Over the decades, Dr. Zahra has led programs that strengthen the body, the mind and the ecosystem around: youth and parental engagement programs, cancer prevention and tobacco de-addiction projects, and community mental health programs. Empathy was her constant co-traveller.
During the global pandemic, Dr. Zahra led with courage, compassion and collaboration to build a network of trained community volunteers and dedicated health professionals. Through years of community service and personal reflection, she has come to believe in the extraordinary resilience of the human body and social bonds that sustain it.
At UnNmbr, Dr. Zahra brings together her clinical knowledge, public health expertise, and human empathy to reframe how we think about the quality of life. She challenges the notion of chronological age and instead envisions a holistic approach to longevity – one that celebrates vitality, belonging, and purpose at every stage.
Dr. Zahra’s mission is simple: to empower people and communities to thrive as they age, beyond numbers — together.

Mohamed Hassanali

Mohamed’s journey began with numbers. Armed with a Master’s Degree in Commerce, he stepped into the world of finance, where strategy, planning, and foresight shape the lives of the people he serves. For over 25 years as a Personal Financial Planner, he has walked alongside individuals and families through life’s uncertainties – helping them find a balance between living well today and securing their tomorrow, through mindful savings, investments, and protection.
Over time, Mohamed’s questions deepened. Beyond wealth, what truly makes a life meaningful? What does it take to live not just securely, but fully? This curiosity led him to study Gerontology at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, a journey that transformed his perspective.
Ageing, he realized, is not merely about adding years, it is about enriching them. Financial stability, he saw, is far more than a safety net; it can be a launchpad for holistic well-being, enabling physical health, mental clarity, social connection, and purposeful living.
At UnNmbr, Mohamed brings this evolved vision to life. He helps people see financial planning not as an end, but as a tool to live with dignity, independence and fulfillment.
For Mohamed, ageing well is not just about how long we live but how deeply we live each moment.
